Marigold is entering the new market of legalized marijuana in the United States by becoming the first website to take the hardships, uneasiness, and confusion out of trying marijuana. We provide customized and curated products suggestions to individuals based on their specific needs.

What we’re building: SEO heavy React+Node system with SSR continuously deployed into a Kubernetes cluster in order to move fast and break into a new market.

Quality and speed are both important so you should have a strong desire to keep up with best practices. We’ll be using A/B testing to figure out which features to build and keep, meaning we can focus on delivering value and not just flavor of the day features.

Our target platforms are all modern browsers, smart phones and tablets and eventually native apps, and we’ll be using GraphQL to make it easier to support these many use cases.

Our team works iteratively, agilely and relies heavily on Slack and a simple PM tool to track priorities.

We need thoughtful engineers who love web apps and have real production experience building consumer facing responsive sites. You should be excited about building a whole project from the ground up, like taking ownership, care about code quality, and want to work on a small team (3-4 people) to start with. Please include the following at the tope of your application: “I am excited to build from the ground up!”

At least in the beginning, you need to be available for two or three hour-long conference calls (in English) per week, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM PST.

We believe that data scientists need to be responsible for delivering their models into production. Thus, we are building a container-based machine learning platform to facilitate machine learning deployment. Job Description

• Design and implement a container-based Machine Learning platform.
• Implements tools and processes to manage our data science infrastructure and model deployment.
• Craft and maintain documentation of the platform and processes.
• Implement and optimize platform configurations for cost, security, and performance
• Work closely with Data scientists and guide them during the model deployment life cycle, until they are comfortable to deploy Machine learning product themselves
• Coordinate with and contribute to libraries of open source projects such as Kubeflow, Argo, Seldon Core, etc.
• Continuously improve the platform to adopt to new available technologies and to make it more and more automated reducing DevOps burden

Qualifications

• PhD or Master in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent fields
• Expertise in Python
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure is a plus)
• Experience in managing and deploying container-based services (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS/ACS)
• Experience with microservices and deploying data science products at scale
• Experience with at least one configuration management tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Ansible.
• Experience with working in a DevOps team, incl. knowledge of the GitOPS process and best practices (travis-ci, jenkins…)
In addition, the following is considered a plus:
• Working knowledge of structured and unstructured Data
• Working knowledge of applying Machine Learning algorithms and libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow)
