Preferred Qualifications

  • CS., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Math, or another technical field preferred (equivalent professional experience is acceptable)

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in back end development

  • Experience with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, AngularJS, Node.js)

  • Knowledge of modern web technologies (HTML5/CSS3/JS)

What we have

Our current web applications are built using an older SPA framework that is nearing retirement age, withan ASP.NET API backend that needs to be converted to .NET Core.

What we need

We’re looking for someone who can step in and help with existing development efforts, but also provide a bit of a jump start to our upcoming Angular development. You don’t need to be the human equivalent of Stack Overflow, but you do need to be able to react and adjust to changing schedules and environments. You need to have a solid background in Angular and be able to pitch in when needed as we transition our API from .NET Framework to .NET Core. 

This position can be local, but you can work remotely as well. If you want to come to the office, we’ll make a desk ready for you. We do ask that you have above-average communication skills and are able to pass a background check.

Currently, we are developing the TezEdge node, a new node shell for Tezos. The position

We are looking for an experienced developer who is ready to immediately begin contributing to our work on the new Tezos node explorer - github.com/simplestaking/tezedge-explorer.

As our codebase is using Angular with ngrx, we expect you to be familiar with the framework and state management.  We are currently in the midst of a 2 year project and we expect you to begin pulling your weight as soon as possible.

What we expect of you:

  • Since we are creating software that handles large financial values, we place an emphasis on developing solutions that have the highest degree of security, with a secondary objective being speed and performance. We expect you to adopt this mindset when you begin working with us.
