.NET Developer / Full Stack Engineer
We are looking for a full stack .NET Engineer to join the Floor Force team based in our Sarasota office. You’ll take ownership for evolving and maintaining our C# ASP.NET codebase, including guiding best practices around style guides, frameworks, and automated unit and integration testing. You’ll work on applications used by our operations team and our customers to manage hundreds of small businesses nationwide. Responsibilities will include finding solutions for the most unique and challenging customer requests, integrating new products into our ecosystem of offerings, building out tools and applications that power a massive product inventory system. At the same time we want someone who will provide technical leadership for our .NET codebases and act as a mentor for other engineers on the team. Full Stack Web Developer (Back End Focus)

We are looking for an experienced, versatile full stack developer, with an emphasis on back end development, who will engage with the user experience team to make technical visions a reality. Our ideal candidate is comfortable with front end code but prefers back end development. As part of our team, you'll be integral to the development and maintenance of our various platforms. You will be upgrading, modifying, and developing new controls, implementation of various 3rd party platforms, along with other online marketing and technology initiatives.
You should be experienced in the latest web developing software techniques and highly proficient in the full spectrum of back-end development. Proficiency in developing for the web is required.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Related Experience
3-5 years developing for the web
3-5 years programming using ASP.net, C#, VB.net, SQL
Excellent Visual Studio and other code editing tools such as sublime text or notepad++
Excellent Development Environment Skills, using Remote Desktop, TFS, various FTP protocols, SVN / Git
Excellent knowledge of ASP .Net MVC, Web Controls, VB and C# / ASP, XML, OData, and working with API’s
SQL Server, maintaining databases, generating and consuming feeds
Setting up and maintaining development environments
Excellent at prioritizing, coordinating and meeting deadlines on multiple projects
Provide input to technical lead and architect on development solutions
The ability to work closely with our project managers, strategists, and external vendors to develop specifications, make recommendations on the use of new and emerging technologies
Effective researcher with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience testing websites, identifying and correcting technical problems across multiple platforms and browsers
Ability to develop and work with custom Wordpress or Drupal websites a plus
Knowledge of SiteCore CMS, Personify, and DNN (Dot Net Nuke) is a plus

Senior Full Stack Engineer (.NET)
The SR Full Stack Developer is responsible for front-end, server-side, and database application development in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s applications.
**As a member of an agile delivery team:
Work with architects and product managers to design, estimate, and implement application features in front-end, server-side, and database tiers according to the company’s standards for architecture and secure application development
Implement services for data acquisition and integration into the company’s data tier
Follow procedures related to software configuration and the delivery pipeline for application development
Perform unit, commit, integration, and non-functional (performance, penetration, security) testing necessary to assure that the software is releasable
Troubleshoot data issues in development, test, and production environments, including use of performance metrics and test reports to identify problem areas
**This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills equal to the challenges of a complex application and industry. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and the interpersonal skills necessary to successfully collaborate with teammates and report to stakeholders -- technical and non-technical.
**Knowledge/ Experience Required
**A bachelor’s degree in CIS or equivalent experience with at least 6-8 years of experience in application development to include:
Review and estimation of user stories in an agile process
Expertise with object-relational programming with MS-SQL Server (Entity Framework preferred)
Experience with an automated unit testing framework for .NET such as nUnit.
Familiarity with RESTful web API development on both producer and consumer sides
Daily use of typical IDE (VisualStudio) and source management tools such as TFS or Git (Git is preferred)
Must be familiar with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) patterns and have a solid understanding of Windows operating system principles. Logistics industry experience is preferred.
**Must have a conscientious regard for quality and the needs of the customer. Must be able to prioritize tasks and accomplish assignments autonomously. Must have the demonstrated capacity to learn quickly in a self-directed manner and to keep up with best practices and current technology in the relevant areas.
