quip’s product team works as an integrated unit with contributions from teams across the company and there is particularly close work within design, product, and engineering. Communication and collaboration are a critical part of the job. Our tech stack is mostly Ruby/Rails deployed on Heroku, with a significant investment in testing, CI/CD, and internal tooling. As the company grows, we are looking to evolve our systems into API-driven services that can support more use cases and platforms. We believe that languages can be learned: we care more about your engineering skill than knowledge of a particular language or framework. We’re looking to work with a team that has an interest in doing things the right way, automating the boring stuff, and making sure our systems are secure and our data is protected.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop features for Quip’s web applications
