POSITION:

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Development Engineer for a software company in Bellevue, WA that specializes in delivering a cloud-based platform for work execution.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will have experience with Java & JavaScript and / or similar OO programming languages. You will build and maintain integrations with Amazon Web Services, Google, Salesforce.com, Box, Microsoft etc. You will implement new features and improve existing features. You will be developing with JavaScript on the client side and Java on the server and fuel features like RESTful API, Webhooks, Workflow and Advanced Notifications.

Technical stack is: JavaScript, HTML, AJAX and WebSockets on the front-end, and Java, MySQL, TokuMX (MongoDB) and RabbitMQ on the back-end.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the entire development life cycle, from concept to release

  • Implement new features and improve the ones we have already built

  • Build JavaScript client code, utilizing both proven and bleeding edge web technologies

  • Build and maintain integrations with the big players in tech: Amazon Web Services, Google, Salesforce.com, Box, Microsoft, PayPal and others

  • Participate in all phases of quality assurance and defect resolution

Requirements:

  • 4+ years software development experience

  • 2+ years web application development

  • Experience building highly scalable, high availability application

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent production releases

We’re looking for a talented full-stack JavaScript engineer to design and develop novel features for our computer vision platform. Creating a product in a new space requires creativity and technical acuity, and as part of the Matroid product team, you’ll shape the functionality and feel of our platform, breaking new ground while working in an engineering culture that fosters employee empowerment.
