iOS Software Engineer for Aviation Crew App

Avinode is hiring! We are looking for an iOS software engineer to join our downtown Portland development team. You will build the next generation of features for the SchedAero Crew iOS App, a mobile version of crew-facing features for SchedAero, the charter aviation industry’s most popular web application for flight quoting and scheduling.

Who are we looking for?

You are the right person for this job if you:

  • Have a minimum 5 years of experience developing data-driven iOS apps using Objective-C, with recent experience in Swift.

  • Bring experience maintaining and supporting iOS apps over multiple years and iterations of development.

  • Have experience with source control and bug tracking software (we use Git and Jira).

  • Build automated testing and performance/stability monitoring into your apps. Experience using fastlane for continuous integration and deployment automation is a plus.

  • Can work effectively with a distributed, agile team, and within established standards and processes. Your local team will include a Product Owner and Designer to provide specifications, engineers to develop REST APIs that serve the app, and QA to test the app; you will also have frequent communication and occasional travel to meet with a peer based in Sweden.

  • Communicate well. With offices in multiple time zones and multiple countries, this position requires strong written and verbal communication skills.

**What’s a React Native Engineer?
**Reporting to the Engineering Lead, the React Native Engineer will work collaboratively with the larger Product and Engineering team to further develop the Clearcover iOS and Android apps.

**What will you do? **

**What do you need? **
