We are looking for passionate Data Warehouse DBA to join our team in Draper, Utah. You will work closely with the Data Management team as well as business intelligence and analytics professionals in the organization. You will have robust communication skills, project management skills, and will be a key member of our talented team of Database Administrators.

**What you’ll be doing **

  • Microsoft SQL Server Data Warehouse Administration

  • Design, develop and implement enterprise data warehouse databases including dev, UAT, DR and production

  • Work closely with our data architect, data engineering ninjas and other business intelligence professionals in a dynamic and experienced data management department

  • Guide engineering and operations teams to understand data warehousing best practices

  • Advanced SQL optimization, mixed workload management, DR and HA

  • Security / Compliance

  • Testing / Troubleshooting

  • Installing, configuring, patching and upgrading the SQL Server data warehouse

  • Design and implement automated code deployment, application monitoring, and alerting solutions

  • Remediate issues that impact the health and performance of our production systems and infrastructure

What you will need to be successful

Strong communication skills are key to successfully integrating into the HealthEquity team. You’re expected to be able to quickly learn the existing database infrastructure and data architecture. The DW DBA must function as a subject matter expert on the team. Routine accountability for technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member or as an individual contributor. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Experience requirements:

  • BS Information Systems, CS/Engineering or 2+ years of experience with Server administration

  • MS MCSA (SQL Server 2012 or later) or 2+ years of experience administering SQL server

  • Minimum 4 years of experience working directly on a parallel or symmetric data warehouse project of enterprise scope; including ETL/SQL tuning, physical implementation, design, testing and post-production support.

  • Proficiency administering MS SQL 2012 or later

  • Proficiency optimizing SQL code including data integration, data transformation, reporting and analytics

  • Workload management and enterprise scheduling using Control-M, JAMS, etc

  • Hardware and networking optimization specific to data warehousing

  • Physical and logical data modeling

  • Database performance monitoring tools like Solarwinds database analyzer and SentryOne

  • Data Governance best practice

These skills are given strong preference:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in PowerShell

  • Proficiency in automation and testing engineering including Python, KSH, BASH and C#

  • An understanding of healthcare financial accounts (e.g. HSA, HRA, and FSA)

Peloton is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to work with teams across the organization to build and maintain monitorable, performant, reliable and highly-scalable software systems. THE ROLE:

  • Evangelize best practices for building and operating highly reliable systems

  • Serve as subject matter expert in observability and monitoring

  • Consult in system design to meet reliability and capacity requirements

  • Automate infrastructure and configuration management

  • Conduct timely post-mortems of production infrastructure incidents

  • Assist with all aspects of operational security and compliance

  • Seek out potential threats to security and reliability and advocate solutions

  • Participate in an on-call rotation to receive escalations

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with or interest in learning about streaming applications and media servers
