Driven Systemutvecklare .NET Core AWS React

e-Avrop react javascript
new

IDS International full stack javascript

Full Stack JavaScript Software Engineer

Why IDS?

Today’s virtual training environments are segmented and simplistic—the opposite of the real-world’s complex and integrated cyber battlefield. When even the most subtle input can influence every other facet of an operation, the one-dimensional training provided to our armed forces is not only outdated, it flat-out fails to equip them to outpace the operational tempo of the rapidly-evolving multi-domain battlefield. In the virtual arena, new threats emerge every day. IDS provides the tools for warfighters and cyber operators not just to prepare for them, but to anticipate the risks and to be ready for them when they arrive.

Social Media Environment and Internet Replication (SMEIR™), a product of IDS International Government Services, is a digital training solution that provides a full-range, free-play, immersive, realistic and scalable operational practice environment in which warfighters simultaneously train on full-spectrum cyberspace operations and social media analytics during integrated and multi-dimensional exercises.

IDS International is seeking a Mid to Senior level Full Stack JavaScript Software Engineer to join our growing team and build out the next generation of our internet simulation platform, called SMEIR. The Software Engineer will replicate various websites and social media platforms that will be used for cyber-training exercises. IDSI’s engineering team uses a modified Scrum/Agile process. Candidate must be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision. IDSI uses Slack, Jira and Git for project and software management. Our main office is in Arlington, VA with remote opportunities available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Use software development languages including Javascript, Node.js, SQL and tools to write, edit, maintain, and test computer software as part of a synthetic cyberspace training environment.

  • Follow the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to plan, design, build, test, and deploy software applications, ranging from websites and mobile applications to web applications, video games, and back end API architecture.

  • In addition to creating new software, improve and maintain the working order of existing software.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years professional experience with:

  • JavaScript (ECMA)

  • Node.js

  • HTML5/CSS3

  • Building and using RESTful APIs

  • Git

  • Familiarity with Microservice Architecture.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional, related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

  • Experience with:

  • Meteor.js

  • MongoDB

  • React.js

  • Docker

  • Kubernetes

  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.

  • Dev/Ops Experience with Linux, BASH, Python.

IDS’s competitive benefit package starts you off out on the right foot. Eligibility begins day one.

  • Health and Well-being - 100% of employee medical and other insurance premiums are paid by IDS.

  • Financial Future – 401(k) with an industry leading match and no waiting period. You are fully vested in all contributions from the start.

  • Paid Leave - Generous time off accruals for you to take paid leave, totaling five weeks.

  • Professional Development – networking opportunities, informal mentoring, education reimbursement and access to thousands of online professional development resources.

  • Casual, fun, and supportive work environment with all the tools and amenities you need to thrive.

Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing. Most positions require ability to work on a desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time. Computer activities include reading, reviewing and analyzing information, as well as providing recommendations, summaries, and reports in written or verbal format. Node Engineer 100

new

What is G2i?

G2i is a hiring platform for engineers ran by engineers. We are an international collective of industry leaders, conference speakers, and subject matter experts within React, React Native and Node that are passionate about working remotely and doing good in the world.

We match technically vetted engineers to pre-vetted clients. Say goodbye to hunting business, drawing up contracts, and working on dying tech. With one production focused, to the point code challenge (no whiteboarding or algorithms + on your own time) vetted by our engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to receive curated contract opportunities as well as become a part of an international collective of React experts. If that sounds up your alley or you would like to find out more, please feel free to reach out to dylan@g2i.co.

G2i is short for "Good News to the Internet." We are convinced that our primary vision & mission are good news to companies that need to hire engineers. While we are going about fulfilling that primary vision & mission, we will also be good news to those in need. We are on a mission to help hundreds of street kids in Nairobi, Kenya obtain education, a safe home, parental care, and the love they need. We are also committed to supporting the open-source community by finding ways to financially support those who build the OSS we rely on.

Your background

In simple terms we want to hire an engineer that is excited about building applications in React Native, is comfortable working in dynamic engineering environments and has strong communication and documentation skills. Here is what this actually means to us:

  • You have 1+ years of professional development experience and have at least 1 year of React Native and/or React production experience.

  • You are willing to complete a code challenge that often takes 6-8 hours to complete (there are no due dates or timers however).

  • You live in North America or South America.

  • You are fluent in both verbal and written English and are comfortable communicating directly with technical and non-technical clients.

  • You are available 30-40 hours per week.

  • You might have full-stack experience with either Rails, Node.js, Apollo Client/GraphQL, native Android (Java, Kotlin) or iOS (Objective C, Swift). But if you don't, that's OK too!

  • You have prior experience as a freelancer or are someone that enjoys having the freedom to choose the types of projects that best align with your interests.

  • You are flexible and can adjust to the working styles of different teams. Some teams may want to pair-program and have daily interaction others may want engineers to work independently and only interact a few hours per week.

Vetting - Developers and Clients

We match technically vetted engineers to pre-vetted clients who place a high value on engineering and focus on running healthy projects. We take care of contracts, billing, payments and all of the other work that goes into freelancing so that engineers can focus on code and clients on building their product. Our vision is for the hiring process to be simple, trustworthy and enjoyable for both companies and engineers.

When we vet clients we make sure they:

  • Prioritize communication

  • Plan appropriately and have realistic timelines

  • Understand the cost of healthy development and have a budget to pay for it

When we vet engineers we make sure:

  • Engineers vet other engineers

  • Our code challenges are to the point and based on production-level code, no whiteboarding

  • Our process is objective, repeatable and quantitively scored

  • Our process is completely transparent

Who you will work with

We only work with companies that value engineers and run healthy engineering teams. We regularly partner with Y Combinator funded product companies that place a high value on engineering. Some of the companies we have worked with are: Lattice, Major League Soccer, ZeeMee, Software Engineering Daily, and Truebill with new clients coming in weekly.

Diversity

G2i is an equal opportunity employer. We’re dedicated to building a team where diversity in both ideas and identities is not only welcomed, but encouraged. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, citizenship, national origin, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.

If you'd like to learn more or set up a no-commitment exploratory call, feel free to apply here or reach out to dylan@g2i.co. Thanks!

React Engineer Native Web 100

Thanks!

Just is a FinTech company building SaaS products for corporate treasury. We help CFOs and finance teams in large multinational companies forecast and manage their financial risk.

We launched our first foreign exchange analytics solution in August 2019 and already serve +20 major corporate customers and 2 non-profits.

We’re currently developing a “liquidity forecasting” tool which lets companies forecast how much money they’ll have in the bank in the future, and stress test this forecast against various global events.

We have a great product development team and are looking for an experienced front-end developer to join us so that we can build top-notch user experiences for our customers more quickly.

🎁 What we offer

  • Join a FinTech startup at the sweet spot—early enough that you can still help shape the company, but established enough to offer good job stability and growth prospects.
  • 100% remote working, unless you’d like to live in Oslo (it’s nice! 🇳🇴🏔️🌲🏳️‍🌈)—and we’ll buy you some decent home office equipment.
  • Regular opportunities to get together with the whole company somewhere fun 🏖️
  • €65-75k salary, wherever you are—we won’t low-ball you for being in a country with a lower cost of living.
  • Stock options, because we want it to be your company as well as ours 🙂

  • You’ll spend most of your time in the first months developing our liquidity management product—we have customers pre-committed to this, so we’re eager to launch as soon as we can.
  • You’ll primarily be responsible for the web client and GraphQL server, but will likely get involved with other things too.
  • You’ll work with our other engineers to come up with the right overall architecture for our solution, and design gRPC APIs that make sense for the front-end.
  • We’ll want you to develop UI test coverage. We have good automated test coverage of our backend services, and front-end unit tests, but we’d like to start running UI tests with Puppeteer or similar.
  • You’ll also lead the design and implementation of a real-time collaboration feature, using something like ShareDB.
  • We’ll spend time helping you to understand our business and archetypical customer in detail. Our engineers don’t just follow instructions—they have their own vision of the product and are always looking to find ways to do things better.

  • You should have extensive experience developing complex web applications with React, Redux and TypeScript—we’d love to see some cool things you made!
  • You should also have worked with GraphQL.
  • You should be good with CSS and familiar with preprocessors.
  • You’ll need an eye for detail and can build things that don't just work, but look and feel great too.
  • You need to practice modern software development techniques such as unit testing, continuous integration & distributed version control.
  • You need to be within ±2 hours of the CET timezone, because we think remote collaboration is really important.
  • We want you to be a fun person to work with! We believe that working together as a team is the most important thing for success.

Senior React Engineer

Are you our first React Engineer?

We're looking for a fourth member to join our talented team to help us build a modern analysis tool for customer feedback.

Note that we are only looking for people located in Europe.

Who are we?

Product Feedback is currently composed of three people:

  • Quentin, who works on product and marketing;

  • Kim, who works on marketing and strategy

We're passionate about tech and have been working in startups for the past decade. We're transparent, honest, and looking to have fun at work.

Product Feedback aims to be a powerful tool for Product Managers to help them understand user feedbacks, and take better product decisions.

Many months of research have led us to scratch our own itch: Product Managers and UX Researchers are struggling to analyze the feedback they get from their users. That's why we have begun creating Product Feedback, a flexible product inspired by Notion.so which will allow product teams to create flexible and smart reporting dashboards thanks to AI.

Product Feedback is a new project launched by an existing SaaS business. This ensures financial autonomy while we seek product-market-fit.

Your challenge (if you accept it)

We're looking for a solid front-dev excited to join a project out of the starting blocks.

You will be in charge of choosing the front-end stack and building the first version of Product Feedback along with Jan who's currently working on the back-end part of the application.

Product Feedback is a fresh new idea, and we're looking for a passionate and dedicated colleague with a startup mindset that's ready to quickly adapt.

  • We’re focused on deliverables;

  • You get 5 weeks per year of paid vacation;

  • We make it a point to learn constantly

Software Engineer Front End React

About SpiderOak

We want to change the world, and we’ve already done it once. SpiderOak has been building encrypted software since before the first iPhone was released.

SpiderOak is committed to building secure and reliable software that protects our customers’ data. Our approach is fundamentally different from most mainstream security companies. Instead of adding layers of security on top of an insecure system, we build software that is inherently secure.

How are we different?

SpiderOak builds need-to-know technology that supports customers working in hostile environments. Traditional systems trust IT infrastructure to maintain the whole security system, even though the news is rife with evidence that this model does not work. Our software combines end to end encryption with a distributed ledger (aka Blockchain) technology to offer best-in-class security with no backdoors.

The Distributed Ledger, SpiderOak Model

A distributed ledger approach can provide compartmentalization of data that does not suffer from a single point of failure and is both fast and cost-effective. Compartments are defined using an irrefutable distributed ledger, enabling complete confidence in who is allowed to participate. Once the list of allowed users is defined, it becomes easy for those parties to negotiate shared encryption keys to secure the data being collaborated on.

Our approach allows for the instant provisioning of cryptographically secure collaboration spaces for use in scenarios where certainty about who has access to that space is a mission requirement.

About SpiderOak Engineering

Our Engineering team is comprised of passionate and creative people who are committed to the premise that complexity is the enemy of security. The problem of security will not be solved by layering on more band-aids, e.g. firewalls, packet inspection, two-factor authentication, etc… these actually add complexity by increasing the attack surface. We take a fundamentally different approach by removing the need to trust your infrastructure or your admins through the combination of

  • Zero-trust systems and applied cryptography

  • Distributed ledger

Our platform and applications – built on Go – enable our customers to collaborate and communicate securely, and we’re looking for growing the team to help us turn this ambitious vision into reality. Our culture is focused on productivity and creativity, and we’re committed to collaboration with our colleagues across the organization.

Job Description

Rather than bore you with a long description, let’s cut to chase: your job is to create user interfaces using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML and other front-end technologies. Integration examples currently include: networking, crypto, key store, file management, and push notifications… but the list might grow as the user needs evolve.

NOTE: Given the nature of our work, candidates must be US Citizens residing in the United States.

⭐️ Senior Frontend Engineer (React/Typescript) — employee # <= 3

Skills: React, TypeScript

Cron's vision is nothing short of building the time layer for the workplace of the future. Time is our single most precious resource yet we primarily use calendar software that hasn't changed since Outlook (90s) or Google Calendar (2006). If you're into using and building high-quality productivity software, read on!

We're looking for a senior frontend engineer to join our tiny team of A+ people and build the foundations of Cron. Email Raphael Schaad (CEO) directly at [email protected].
Why join

As a small team, we work in a highly collaborative environment and you'll have the opportunity to participate in every part of the business from idea to production.

Impact: Build the foundation and shape engineering practices, team, and company culture.

Excellence: Practice your craft with other A+ ICs in a well-organized, fast-paced environment.

Ownership: Influence the direction of product and strategy — we care about your opinions.
What you'll do (responsibilities)

We're looking for experienced individual contributors who enjoy working alongside other experienced engineers and designers to quickly build and iterate on UI/UX/features.

  • Build the core, user-facing product. You'll build the product from the ground up, having a huge and direct impact by shipping your work to users on prod daily.

  • Use modern web tech and influence the stack. We use React (functional components, hooks), MobX, styled-components, and TypeScript to build a best-in-class frontend that scales. We started out with Svelte+JavaScript and always have an open mind to adopting new technologies.

  • Self-direct your work and co-own the product. You'll have autonomy and responsibility because we are all individual contributors. You'll be involved in shaping the roadmap and owning the execution of it. You'll build a tool that improves your own day-to-day life and that users love.

  • Build complex and delightful UI components. You'll interpret and implement designs based on anything from pen & paper sketches to pixel-perfect Figma mocks. You'll collaborate with designers on CSS, interaction states, and animations, to rapidly ship UI that has a native feel to it.

  • Improve performance by profiling and optimizing rendering. You'll make every interaction feel snappy, working alongside like-minded engineers who sweat the details to make sure every render runs at 60 FPS.

  • Solve interesting technical problems. Bring your full creativity to solve super-challenging technical and UX problems: from real-time collaboration, native Electron integrations, syncing app state, to nifty keyboard-driven interactions.

What we're looking for (qualifications)

We expect you to have experience in this job and the technologies we use but don't have requirements for formal qualifications. We're looking for people who enjoy picking up challenges, figuring out the best way to solve them quickly, and feel a sense of duty to our users.

  • Highly productive while producing quality code. You enjoy pushing out UI components and features in a pragmatic and maintainable way. You know when to use duct tape and when to lay foundation.

  • Curious and quick learning. We don't expect you to have experience in every technology we use, but to learn and be productive quickly.

  • Design sensibility. While you'll co-craft the interface with top designers, we expect you to have a knack for great UX, such that you feel if something is off and can flag it, or better yet, polish it.

  • Attention to detail while pragmatic. We strive for few slips in code, reasonable Git hygiene, and clear written communication — all while remaining low-ego and simply focusing on solutions.

  • Interested in productivity apps/systems. You might use your calendar to time block deep work, try out Chrome extensions, configure custom app launchers, or self-optimize in other ways.

  • Good heart. We're friendly people, desire harmony in our collaboration, and don't tolerate jerks.

What we offer (compensation & benefits)

We'll treat you well. If there are any other benefits that are important to you, we'd like to hear.

  • Competitive salary and equity — multiple options based on your desire for ownership.

  • Health insurance — for employees anywhere, not just in the US.

  • Paid time off — 4 weeks paid vacation, paid sick leave, and paid parental leave.

  • Fully-distributed culture — live and work where you'd like (US–EU time zones).

  • Co-working space — company-paid co-working desk in your local community.

  • Hardware setup — new MacBook Pro, big display, and accessories.

How to Apply

Interested in learning more what it's like to build Cron with our tiny team of A+ people?
Email Raphael Schaad (CEO) directly at [email protected].

  • Include this role's title in your subject line.

  • Send along links that best showcase the relevant things you've built and done.

  • Tell us briefly why you're interested in joining Cron.

Diversity and inclusion are core to our culture. If you are a member of an underrepresented group in tech, we strongly encourage you to apply.

React Engineer Native Web 100

Thanks!

Senior Front End Engineer Javascript

At Olo we develop an online food ordering platform used by many of the country’s largest restaurant chains, reaching millions of consumers. Chances are if you’ve ordered directly from a restaurant brand’s app or website, we’ve made that happen. Mobile ordering and payments is an exciting and active industry full of interesting players and yet still a relatively untapped market ripe for disruption. We’re quite up-front about the technical challenges our business faces. Running a platform with multiple white-labeled front-ends, that maintains real-time connections into thousands of restaurants’ POS systems, and coordinates complex transactions between these and other third parties (such as payment gateways and gift card providers) is not for the faint of heart!

We take pride in a neat codebase with automated tests and continuous integration, and encourage constant refactoring. We encourage new ideas and experimentation. No part of the code base is off limits.

Our current technologies include modern versions of React,TypeScript, Ember, ASP.NET MVC, C#, and F#. We also rely on tools such as AWS, GitHub, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Sumo Logic, Datadog, and New Relic. We don’t expect you to have experience with everything on this list, and we’ll help you learn what you don’t know!

As a front-end engineer at Olo, you will play a significant and visible role in helping us build one of the most advanced food ordering platforms in the hospitality industry. You will help us shape the digital guest experience for restaurant brands served by Olo. You will contribute to technology selection, architecture and user experience for our front-end applications.

Any engineer may work at Olo’s headquarters in New York City’s Financial District or remotely from anywhere in the U.S. In fact, more than half of our engineering team is remote!

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of ES6/ES2015+ and one or more modern Javascript frameworks, including React

  • In-depth experience with the back-end of the stack (Bonus: .NET)

  • Experience building ADA compliant user interfaces that put users first and look and feel awesome to use

  • Experience creating and maintaining automated tests is a plus

  • Leadership experience that spans one or more aspects of technology selection, architecture and design oversight, and mentoring others

  • Superb problem solving skills with an emphasis on pragmatism, quality, performance, and scalability

  • Passion for learning new skills and technologies

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

  • BS degree in a technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience

  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English

  • Legal right to work in the U.S.

What's Important to Olo

  • Our families come first. We know they make us who we are and they are who we live and work for every day.

  • Olo is our extended family. We’re in this together, fighting for one another. We’re happy to be here. We will not let one another down.

  • We learn from and fight through setbacks. We recognize and help one another with direct feedback.

  • We care about you. We offer 20 days of paid time off, fully paid health, dental and vision care premiums, stock options, a generous parental leave plan.

  • We value diversity. At Olo, we know a diverse and inclusive team not only makes our products better, but our workplace better. Many groups are consistently underrepresented across the tech sector and we are fully committed to doing our part to move the needle.

  • Learn more about our culture, values, and mission.  https://www.olo.com/images/culture.jpg.

COVID-19 Impact

Olo is committed to the well-being of candidates, employees and our community. The  Olo NYC Headquarters will be closed for the foreseeable future because of the global outbreak of COVID-19. While an in-person interview is typical for many roles at Olo, we will conduct interviews via video conferencing while our HQ is closed. Olo benefits from the fact that over half of our workforce is remote, therefore we are accustomed to conducting interviews via video conferencing and we anticipate no impact on our recruiting timelines. We encourage candidates to share any concerns or questions with Olo’s recruiting team.
