About the Role

The Recruiting Marketing team is looking for an energetic and dependable individual, who is passionate in solving complex system level problems, creating scalable and highly efficient frameworks and supporting software development across the whole business suite. A professional with solid grounding in Computer Science, strong competencies in security, data structures, algorithms and software design is an ideal candidate for this team.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Understand company strategy and business, design, implement and continuously improve complex backend system architecture to support a high-volume SaaS system with complex business scenarios, high security, performance, scalability and testability
  • Liaison with Product Manager, Engineering Manager and other agile teams to align with the overall product vision and architecture design
  • Lead best practice for clean and effective code, improve team technical level
  • Lead and influence technical direction and roadmap
  • Lead design reviews for engineers and provide feedback on architecture and open design questions

Required Skills and Experience:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industrial experience required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of overall software development experience, 5+ years in Java.
  • Experience in building security features for large-scale systems, specifically around data encryption and encryption key management.
  • Strong familiarity with encryption algorithms (including non-deterministic encryption) and best practices
  • Proficiency in coding, data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, and availability.
  • Experience developing highly available, scalable distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with containerization services i.e. Kubernetes.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A Day in the Life

As a Pr. Full Stack Mobile Engineer, you would be involved in the following activities:

• Be a technical leader within the company, performing code and design review and contributing to processes which drive higher quality and better performance.

• Build robust monitoring, metrics and QA infrastructure with the goal of improving system reliability and surfacing issues early and providing data and visualizations to aid troubleshooting efforts.

• Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities.

• Determines systems software design requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
